Onder Baloglu, Violin -
Onder Baloglu was born in 1988 in Adana. He started his musical career with violin lessons from Prof. Ferhang Huseynov and has been continuing his musical studies at the Folkwang Art University in Essen, Germany under Prof. Nana Jashvili, Prof. Pieter Daniel and Proj. Andreas Reiner, as well as having had the chance to work with world renowned musicians such as Vadim Guzman, Gordan Nikolic, Ivry Gitlis and Patricia Kopatchinskaja
He performed as a soloist with the Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra, the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra, the Çukurova State Symphony Orchestra, the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra in Turkey, and abroad he performed with the Koblenz Rheinische State Philharmonic Orchestra and the Bochum Symphony. He was also featured on broadcasts by TRT and the German television stations ZDF and WDR 3.
In addition to his work as a soloist, Baloglu has also shown great interest in chamber music and has been the founding member of many ensembles, giving concerts or entering competitions at venues and organisations such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, The Istanbul-Esswn European Cultural Capitals event and the Young Euro Classic Festival, giving many concerts across Europe, especially in Germany. In the 2015 concert season he started a chamber music concert series at the Katakomben Theatre in Essen, of which he was the artistic director. He become concertmaster at various Turkish, German and international orchestras, and performed as a member of the Klangverwaltung München Orchestra in some of Germany’s most prestigious concert halls.
He gave many concerts in many countries such as Turkey, China, India, Russia, Argentina, Brasil and Peru. In addition to his study with Prof. Pieter Daniel and Prof. Andreas Reiner with whom he is currently studying at Master of Professional Performance level, he is also assistant to Proj. Pieter Daniel at the Folkwang Arts University. Additionally, he is the concertmaster at Düsseldorf-Duisburg German Rhein Oper, where he was appointed to this position in September 2013.
