Violin Master Class with Harald Herzl As chairman of the string department at the Mozarteum Academy in Salzburg, violinistHarald Herzl is anchored in performing traditions dating from the time of Mozart. As a pupil of the legendary Sandor Vegh he was founding member of the Pro Arte Quartet that gained an exclusive recording contract with RCA Victor to record the complete Mozart String Quartets. Özcan Ulucan and Ellen Jewett will continue to teach during this workshop focused on solo violin repertoire. Participants will receive lessons each day with one of the teachers and will have the opportunity to observe all lessons. All participants will perform in the final concert. Flute Master Class with Elena Cecconi As professor of flute at Genoa Conservatory in Italy, Elena Cecconi has recorded 16 CDs and performed worldwide. Her repertoire ranges from baroque performance practice studies to music of our time, in particular that of contemporary Italian composers. Course Fee 150 EU August 2-6
Oboe Master Class with Ernest Rombout As member of Amsterdam based Nieuw Ensemble, Ernest Rombout has been at the leading edge of new music scene in Europe for over 25 years,. He studied with Heinz Holliger as well as Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Maurice Bourgue. He performed as soloist with the Concertgebouw Orchestra among others and is on the faculty at both the Utrecht and Amsterdam Conservatories Course Fee 150 EU August 2-6 Clarinet Master Class with Nusret Ispir Turkey's leading clarinetist Nusret Ispir is principal solo clarinet of Bilkent Orchestra in Ankara and has performed numerous concerts with artists such as Vlademir Askhenazy, J. C. Casadessus, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, J. Mercier, Frederic Aguessy, Dominique My, Alain Damiens and the Ysaye Quartet.
